I have always been a Barkers fan but when I opened the package and saw I had the Apricot Spread I was disappointed. I know Barkers had no idea of my favourite jams/spreads but Apricot is definately not a favourite. I hate leaving a not favourable comment for Barkers as I do like their spreads. For me Apricot is too tart and not pleasing. I wasn't going to leave a comment but I signed up to be honest. Do not not try Apricot spread because of this comment, because this is just my opinion and as I said I do like Barkers normally, just not Apricot.

After trying the Apricot I then went and purchased the Wildberry Spread, which I LOVE!!!.. I guess apricot is not my flavour. Wildberry wins along with the other Barker products I have tried.

Wow this jam was great, only problem was that the jar didn't last ( I used abundance on each slice of toast), LOVED how it has a slight tang to it, not too sweet, have referred and brought this for friends and family to show how yummy it is:) My favorite jam by far!!!!!

I really enjoyed the apricot spread. I found it full flavoured and a lovely fresh natural taste. Nice and chunky and you could see the fruit. Delicious will buy again.

This product has a different texture but similar taste to what i'd call good quality normal jam. Its sort of smooth, whereas I personally like the chunkier texture of anathoth or my mother's home...

With being a jam fan I was interested in giving Barkers no added sugar jam a try. It reminds me of a homemade jam with plenty of fruit and a runny consistency , it had a mild tart taste to it but...

I don't usually have spreads because of added sugar but this is all natural sugars and still 20% less sugar overall than the Craigs jam we have. It was delicious, and very sweet, but the sweetness...

Delicious taste! Quite tart, but that adds to the niceness. The texture is quite thin, but not runny and spreads nicely on the bread.

The apricot jam is full of flavour, and retains some tartness, which I think means that you wouldn't have too much of it. Loved the natural apricot taste which can be lacking in some jams...
