Jerk rub

Makes 4-5 tablespoons

This rub can be used on beef, lamb or chicken.

2 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1 Combine all ingredients.

Step 2 Add 2 tablespoons olive oil to dry mixture to make a rub.

Step 3 Store in a sealed container in the fridge.
